To learn more about our company, please visit Job Summary: Produces additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance programs and other appropriate after-sale items to new and used vehicle customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties. Converts cash deals to finance. * Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval. Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner. * Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transaction. * Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments. * Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner. Checks all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting. * Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies. Sets up and maintains a program which will ensure 100 percent turnover to the F&I department. * Provides sales force and sales managers with current information about finance and lease programs continually. Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale. * Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees. * Takes credit applications directly from the customer as needed. Attends sales staff and managers meetings. * Handles all rate quotations. * Develops and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. * Maintains an adequate and current supply of all required contracts and paperwork needed for completion and finalization of car deals. * Maintains a clean and professional work environment. * Maintains professional appearance. Earnings Potential: * The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $175,000.00. This role is paid based solely on commissions in accordance with the Company’s Plan. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service and evaluation of customer satisfaction. * Must have knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services. * Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Word and Excel, managing les and records, designing forms and other office procedures. * Must utilize effective time management skills. * Must have exceptional customer service skills * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be a team player. * Must have a professional appearance and manner. * Must have the ability to establish productive, cooperative relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers and management. * Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: * A sales license must be maintained. * An insurance license must be maintained. * Manufacturer certification must be maintained at the minimum level. * A valid driver’s license must be maintained.
