We are seeking a dynamic Channel Solutions leader with a strategic mindset and a proven ability to drive innovation, collaboration, and business growth in a complex and fast-paced environment. This role requires a deep knowledge of RFID and the complexity of selling in a Channel ecosystem. This leader would thrive in bridging teams, driving partnerships, and delivering complete solutions to complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Zebra’s products (especially RFID) and software/solutions offerings, as well as the ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders to foster meaningful partnerships internally and externally across our evolving Channel landscape.
As a leader of sellers in this role, you will work across departments to solve business problems and deliver transformative solutions for our customers and through our channel. Your ability to lead and inspire a team, think strategically, and collaborate across functions will be critical to achieving our organizational goals and enhancing customer satisfaction.
This remote role must reside in the US with the ability to travel nationwide as business dictates (~35%-40%).
Responsibilities:
Knowledge/Expertise:
- Technical Skills - Helps develop Zebra technical solutions around RFID and solutions; technical/solutions expertise required
- Knowledge of Zebra - Helps create Business/Industry products/services strategy, often crossing multiple selling and business unit groups
- Knowledge of Channel Ecosystems – Understands the Zebra Channel Go-to-Market and works with both internal/external stakeholders to develop meaningful partner growth strategies
- Sales Skills – Leads teams in development of advanced solution selling concepts and partnership evolution; proven sales success only
- Managerial Skills - Full knowledge of all relevant business policies/practices and Zebra solutions offerings; strong ability to energize and lead others
- Market/Customer Knowledge – Applies both strategic and tactical understanding of markets to ensure Zebra wins in the marketplace
Solution Complexity/Strategic Thinking:
- Nature of Problems Solved – Solves complex customer, partner, and sales problems which may require unique solutions which are used across geographies, industries, etc.
- Role in Addressing Problems – Leads problem resolution, identifies appropriate resources, mitigates future risk, collaborates with multiple business functions to achieve successful customer outcomes
- Complexity of Solutions – Typically high complexity focused on RFID, Voice, and other solutions ecosystem sales

- Level of Guidance – Determines and pursues courses of action essential in obtaining desired outcomes.; operates with broad autonomy to make decisions that impact sales effectiveness and will help meet or hinder a business in meeting objectives
- Takes Direction From – Channel Sales Leadership; collaboration with Solution Sales teams and Business Unit Leadership
Customer Interface:
- Role – Leads dynamic group of technical solution-selling personnel
- Level of Customer Contact – Executive and seller level interactions both internally and with Channel partners. Potential interface with end customer decision makers.
- Main Level of Interaction – Defines project customer interface and assists teams on largest deals
- Required Knowledge of Customer – Industry direction and customer strategic business plan for future. Knowledge of evolving RFID landscape and solutions within multiple verticals and through Channel.
Accountability:
- Business and Financial Impact – Manages sales and support resources directly or indirectly; responsible for revenue, margins and departmental expenses
- Relative Size and Scope – Sustained very high quota and results over multiple years for the business; individual or team managed has a large impact on a Business unit
- Types of Projects – Large complex deals or very large volume of moderate deals
- Strategic Impact for Zebra – High in near and mid-term
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 12 + years of technology-related B2B sales experience to include extensive experience in channel/partner sales
- 5 + years of people management experience with proven success in directly managing a team toward growth and revenue achievement
- Deep expertise in RFID technology , including in-depth knowledge of industry applications, deployment strategies, and sales processes** Resumes submitted must clearly highlight specific RFID-related experience
- Must reside in the US with the ability to travel nationwide (~ 35-40%)

- Proven success with effectively building/hiring, leading and supporting teams with closing complex sales deals
- Ability to work cross-functionally across business units and technical teams
- Deep understanding of the specific product portfolio, industry-specific trends, and competitive landscape
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Experience of working at a strategic level to enable partners and vendors to increase sales and enhance relationships.

Salary: USD 111800.00 - USD 167800.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
