Cleaner - Part Time

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS : This is routine manual work calling for the performance of simple cleaning duties. Work is performed under direct supervision of a Supervisor who assigns tasks and frequently inspects and evaluates the employee and their work when completed. Does related work, as required.

TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES :

• Sweeps and mops floors by hand or floor machine.
• Washes windows and polishes floors.
• Dusts woodwork, furniture and other articles.
• Cleans lavatories and replenishes supplies.
• Washes glassware and other dishware equipment.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Picks up and recycles trash.
• Does related work as needed.
