OverviewThe Vice President (VP) of Account Services is a senior leadership role within The Marketing Studio, Gallagher’s global in-house agency. This role provides oversight and strategic direction for the Account Services functional team, including Account Directors, Campaign Strategists, and Project Managers.
The VP acts as a guardian of strategic integrity, advocating for Growth and Product Marketing initiatives and campaigns that align with Gallagher’s larger marketing goals to focus on revenue-generating work. Beyond high-level team leadership, this role serves as the primary champion for the Account and Campaign Strategy teams and their relationship with marketing leadership, ensuring their expertise is leveraged to steer the studio toward high-impact projects that drive measurable business growth.
How you'll make an impactStrategic Leadership of High-Impact Roles
- Executive Oversight: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Account Directors, Campaign Strategists, and Project Managers, providing the professional development and roadmap necessary for them to excel as strategic partners to the Growth and Product Marketing teams.
- Functional Integration: Foster a high-performing culture where Account Management (focused on stakeholder advocacy and project delivery) and Campaign Strategy (focused on analytical, goal-driven campaign execution) operate in synchronization to deliver world-class outputs.
- Talent Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and advocate for Account Services staffing needs and divisional alignment shifts, ensuring the team is structured to support evolving global business demands.
Strategic Alignment & Marketing Leadership Partnership
- Marketing Liaison: Act as a senior strategic partner to Growth and Product Marketing Leadership, ensuring proactive line of sight into larger planning initiatives and advocating on behalf of the Marketing Studio to prioritize and support revenue-generating work.
- Organizational Goal Synchronization: Ensure that campaigns and projects executed by the Marketing Studio directly support Gallagher’s larger corporate initiatives, brand visibility, and revenue-driving goals.
- Enterprise Advocacy: Serve as the primary executive point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring their long-term marketing challenges and competitive landscapes are deeply understood and addressed by the account team.
Strategic Integrity & Advocacy
- Guardian of Strategy: Act as champion for the Account and Campaign Strategy teams, protecting the integrity of strategic, data-driven recommendations while balancing the need to meet the day-to-day requirements of marketing teams.
- Constructive Push-Back: Lead the team in effectively challenging misaligned requests from marketers; using expert insights and collaborative communication to steer partners toward solutions that are more effective, on-brand, and strategically sound.
- Resource & Quality Stewardship: Advocate for the studio’s expertise and bandwidth by defining solutions that meet business needs without exhausting resources or compromising the quality of the output.
- Brand Integrity Governance: Maintain an unyielding standard for Gallagher’s brand integrity, ensuring that individual marketing team goals never supersede the core brand standards and strategic quality of the organization.
Performance & Insight Governance
- Strategic KPI Alignment: Guide Campaign Strategists in defining and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that provide Growth and Product Marketing leadership with measurable proof of Marketing Studio’s impact on Gallagher’s growth, revenue and lead generation.
- Feedback Loop Leadership: Capture high-level stakeholder feedback to continuously refine the relationship between the Studio and the Growth/Product Marketers, ensuring a structure of clear, regular, and honest communication.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience leading a digital marketing team, and a proven digital platform builder with a strong track record of leveraging digital channels and enhancing a brand through online capabilities.
Highly Preferred:
- Experience : 10+ years of senior-level experience in marketing, account services, or agency leadership, with at least 5 years in a significant executive management role.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
- Strategic Expertise : Proven track record of translating complex business objectives into actionable marketing strategies within a global, fast-paced environment.
- Leadership Track Record : Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring other people-leaders and diverse, cross-functional teams.

Location :
- This position is based at Gallagher's corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
