Job Description - Senior Applications Consultant - Ariba Consultant (052168)

• Strong knowledge on Ariba P2P, S2C configurations and template design.
• Good Experience in Ariba Approval flow design
• Knowledge in Ariba catalogs, Supplier Enablement.
• Knowledge in Ariba CIG Mappings, Configuration, design in CIG Platform and SAP side( ECC or S/4HANA) if CIG knowledge is required else knowledge on Ariba ITK Processes and Configuration.
• Work closely with the business and functional teams regarding the viability of business requirements
• Expert in using PI/PO tools (mapping tools/editors) and proficient in different mapping styles (Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, XSLT Mapping.) & Interfaces using at least Advanced Adapter Engine (AAE)
• Extensively working on PI Adapters (IDOC, RFC, Proxy, REST, EDI, JDBC, IDoc_AAE, RFC, File, XI, SOAP,SFTP,AribaNetworkAdapter and JMS)
• Expertise in designing Interface solution based on Functional Spec, and also reviewing technical specifications
• Experience in B2B interfaces using EDI/ALE/IDOC interfaces
• Performance tuning and code optimization of PI/PO interfaces
• SAP PI 7.3.1 or SAP PO 7.4 or SAP PO 7.5 experience
• Worked on CTS and File transport system
• Worked on SLD configuration
• Expert in Component based Alert configuration
• Experience in trouble shooting the PI issues
• Excellent development skills in Java, good understanding of JAVA J2EE, Rest and SOAP based web services
• Hands on experience writing Java Scripts/User-Defined Functions.
• Experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration
• Should have ITIL knowledge (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management)

Applications Consultants have expertise in a specific technology environment. They are responsible for software-specific design and realization, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, ORACLE). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.

Required Skills and Experience:

You are an expert in one or more business processes and technology practices and are accountable for translating a business case into a detailed technical design. Alternatively, you are responsible for operational and technical issues and translate technical blueprints into requirements and specifications. You may also be responsible for integration testing and user acceptance testing. You act as a stream lead, guiding team members by experience. You are seen as active member within technology communities.

• Qualification: 7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) experience, Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certification: SE level 1 and seeking level 2.
• Must have experience in Package Configuration.
• Should be proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Testing, Architecture Knowledge, Technical Solution Design and Vendor Management.
