Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Winnebago, IL for a Baker, Cook, Cafe Manager and Event Coordinator. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods such as bread, cookies, and other pastries. Daily tasks include measuring and combining ingredients, baking items according to recipes, monitoring oven temperatures, ensuring product consistency, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The Baker will also assist with inventory checks and collaborate with team members to meet production needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in Bakery operations and Baking processes
- Proficiency in Food Preparation techniques with a focus on quality and hygiene
- Familiarity with the preparation and baking of Cookies and Bread
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain high standards
- Prior experience in a similar role or formal culinary/baking education is a plus
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends
