Medical Assistant - Family Medicine on Windsor (Urbana)

Overview

The Medical Assistant I maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.
Qualifications

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), Education: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)


Responsibilities

• Perform routine direct patient care to support medical and nursing staff
• Assist with patient examinations and treatments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and private patient care environment
• Restock and manage medical supplies
• Take patient vital signs
• Complete the full rooming process
• Perform point‑of‑care (POC) testing
• Send normal result letters to patients
• Complete pre‑visit orders and pre‑visit phone calls
• Assist the nurse and/or provider as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $17.12per hour - $27.73per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
