Leasing Administrator - Affordable HousingLocation: Channahon, ILPay: Competitive, based on experienceSchedule: Full-Time, Tuesday-Saturday Join our team as a Leasing Administrator and help create a welcoming, professional environment for residents and prospects. You’ll assist with leasing paperwork, property tours, rent processing, and administrative tasks while ensuring all Fair Housing guidelines are met. What You’ll Do: * Greet visitors, tenants, and vendors with professionalism and a welcoming attitude. * Answer and route phone calls, take detailed messages, and assist with inquiries. * Provide administrative support to property management staff, including reports, correspondence, filing, and mail processing. * Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory. * Assist with lease renewals, tenant file maintenance, interviews, and rent calculations. * Process work orders, coordinate with maintenance staff, and handle related paperwork. * Show apartments to prospective tenants and provide property information. * Manage waiting lists and support move-in/move-out procedures. * Assist with rent collections and re-certifications. * Uphold all Fair Housing requirements and company policies. Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED (2-year college degree a plus) * Must have a leasing license * 1+ year administrative or customer service experience (leasing experience a plus) * Proven ability to provide excellent customer service * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) * Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Willingness to travel between properties as needed * Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people and maintain professionalism in challenging situations Why Join Us?You’ll be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to providing quality housing and exceptional service to our residents.
