Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead mission-critical initiatives related to implementing multiple UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) modules. The organization successfully deployed its UKG HRIS platform in recent years and is now preparing to implement an additional six UKG components. Project work is expected to begin in late summer/early Fall.
This is a unique opportunity for a highly capable project leader to step into a dynamic and evolving environment, assess the current state of operations, and lay the groundwork for a successful implementation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the discovery, planning, and execution phases for upcoming UKG module implementations.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct a thorough current-state assessment of HRIS systems and related workflows in preparation for future project phases.
- Navigate and bring structure to a complex, fast-paced, and occasionally ambiguous work environment.
- Serve as the point of contact between functional teams, IT, UKG representatives, and external partners.
- Manage timelines, budgets, risk assessments, change control, and status reporting with precision and transparency.
- Support the long-term strategic vision for enterprise HR technology and digital transformation.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field is required. A Masters degree (MBA, MIS, or similar) is preferred but not required.
- 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise systems, HRIS, or ERP implementations.
- PMP Certification preferred
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and system integrations.
- Experience with UKG software (HRIS and/or other modules) is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to bring order to unstructured or evolving environments.
- Must be located within driving distance of the corporate office and able to be onsite 23 days per week.
