A leading international food packaging manufacturer is investing heavily in the US market and launching an ambitious growth initiative focused on winning entirely new business across the food packaging sector.

We are looking for commercially aggressive, high-energy hunters who know how to open doors, create momentum and close strategic new business opportunities.

This is a pure hunter role for someone who thrives on:

Packaging experience is beneficial — but not essential.

We are open to high-performing commercial hunters from aligned B2B industries who want to break into one of the most stable, relationship-driven and strategically important industries in the market.

True autonomy

This is a role for someone who wants ownership.

You will have the freedom to build territory plans, develop target account strategies, generate your own pipeline and create commercial success in your region.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, your focus will be simple:

Go into the market and win new customers.

You will proactively target manufacturers, food brands, distributors and strategic accounts across the food packaging market — opening doors, creating opportunities and converting prospects into profitable long-term partnerships.

You will:

Generate and qualify new business opportunities

Build and manage your own outbound pipeline

Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close

Open doors through cold outreach, networking and industry relationships

Deliver compelling commercial presentations and proposals

Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop solutions

Identify both quick wins and strategic long-term opportunities

Maintain strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy

This is a highly visible role with genuine influence on the organisation’s US growth trajectory.
