Position: Data Entry / Accounts Payable Clerk
Pay: $20-$23/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Bartlett, IL (on-site position)

Job Description
We are seeking detail-oriented candidates to support high-volume accounts payable operations. This role requires the ability to process 175+ invoices per day while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. The position will begin with processing paper documentation and providing general clerical support. Following training, candidates will transition to processing payables within computerized systems.
Experience with JD Edwards and/or Bottomline is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Process, verify, and reconcile invoices by reviewing entries and comparing system reports to account balances
Assign expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and expense reports
Prepare and process vendor payments by:
Monitoring discount opportunities
Verifying federal ID numbers
Scheduling and preparing checks
Resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders, contracts, invoices, or payments
Ensure credits are received for outstanding memos
Issue stop payments or amend purchase orders as needed
Process employee reimbursements by reviewing and verifying expense reports and advance requests
Maintain confidentiality and support the continuous improvement of payment processes
Process customer credits
Requirements & Qualifications
Strong computer skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume workload
Education: College degree not required
Experience: 0–3 years
