SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Self Check Out Attendant includes supervising the self-checkouts, assisting customer in processing orders, including cashiering and loss prevention. The Self Check Out Attendant also responds to complaints with genuine concern.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
• Learns and uses the GUEST program

• Maintains customer satisfaction by providing solutions to concerns
• Assists and watches the Self Check Out registers
• Assists in performing product scanning and processing of customer's orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner.
• Ensures proper handling of all forms of tender and coupons.
• Performs fixed activities as assigned by supervisor
• Directs customer traffic.
• Assists with any pricing issue.
• Assists with register maintenance, cleaning and replenishing supplies
• Follows all store and department policies and procedures.
• Follows safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
