Accounts Payable Contractor

We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Contractor to join their team on a contract basis. As an Accounts Payable Contractor , you will play a crucial role in managing and processing accounts payable transactions with precision and efficiency. You’ll work closely with our client’s finance team to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices, maintain vendor relationships and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Accounts Payable Contractor Responsibilities:
  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Prepare and execute payments, including checks, ACH transfers and wire transfers
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Manage vendor relationships, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Accounts Payable Contractor Requirements:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
