Position: Shipping Coordinator

Job Type: Contract to Hire

Pay: $17

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Occasional overtime

Location: Pingree Grove, IL

Job Summary:

A leading provider of commercial and industrial maintenance solutions is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage the logistics and transportation of domestic and international shipments. This role is critical in supporting customer service excellence and requires regular communication with internal teams and a global dealer base. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

The right individual will be motivated to excel in a business environment driven by customer service excellence.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate shipments: LTL, Container, Air and Load to Ride

· Review LTL orders to ensure proper carrier is selected

· Prepare documents needed for domestic and international shipments

(i.e. Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, NAFTA, Shippers Letter of Instruction, etc.)

· Plan, track and trace shipment of final products, ensuring deliveries are enroute to their correct destination and arrive precisely on time, according to customer requirements

· Communicate with our customers regarding the status of the shipment and other freight related inquiries

· Manage freight claims, shipping errors and resolve other freight related issues

· Provide additional support to our International Administrator

· Build customer loyalty and satisfaction by collaborating and communicating with our Customer Service Representatives and Sales Team

Requirements:

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Exceptional organizational skills

· Unparalleled attention to detail

· Computer knowledge – Outlook, Microsoft Office, SAP a plus

· Associates Degree or equivalent experience

· Professionalism, patience and a “people first” attitude

· Critical thinking and problem solving

· Teamwork and collaboration
