Compensation: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, plus overtime

Job Overview

Our client, an electrical services and solar installation start-up company, is looking to hire a Solar Installer to support their growing volume of solar projects across the Chicagoland area. This Solar Installer role can be either a part-time or a full-time position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Travelling to customer locations across the greater Chicago area
• Completing solar installation projects, including the installation of racking and railing mechanisms
• Adhering to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of electrical tools and materials.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• At least 2 years of residential solar installation experience
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or previous electrical experience is preferred
• A valid driver’s license
• Proficiency in English (proficiency also in Spanish is a plus)
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
• A strong commitment to safety and maintaining high standards.
• The ability to work in various weather conditions.
• The ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
• The ability to commute to job sites.

Compensation

• The Solar Installer role has a wage of $25.00 to $32.00 per hour, plus overtime
