Senior Buyer

LaSalle Network is hiring a Senior Buyer to join a global manufacturing leader known for precision, innovation, and teamwork. This role is onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, ideal for someone who thrives in the details, has an eye for vendor quality, and knows how to negotiate with confidence. You’ll be at the heart of our procurement operations—balancing cost, quality, and delivery timelines across international and domestic supply chains. Immediate availability is preferred!

Senior Buyer Responsibilities:

• Create and manage purchase orders for U.S. and international suppliers

• Confirm and track all orders and update systems accordingly

• Review vendor confirmations, ensuring accurate pricing and timely updates

• Resolve delivery delays and backorders with proactive communication

• Evaluate vendors based on cost, quality, and reliability

• Conduct vendor interviews and site visits to build strategic relationships

• Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms

• Verify purchase requests, ensuring alignment with company needs and budgets

• Schedule deliveries and resolve shipping discrepancies

• Authorize payments and maintain all procurement documentation

• Troubleshoot supplier-related issues, including quality and invoicing

• Recommend and implement procurement process improvements

• Collaborate with suppliers to reduce lead times and improve delivery metrics

• Maintain ERP system with accurate and up-to-date procurement data

Senior Buyer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical field preferred

• 3–5 years of buying/purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment

• International sourcing experience is a plus

• Strong Excel/MS Office and ERP system proficiency

• Proven ability to negotiate, analyze data, and make sound decisions

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Collaborative, communicative, and customer-service driven
