Job Title: Backhaul Coordinator
Position Summary
The Backhaul Coordinator supports transportation and logistics operations by performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Under general supervision, this role completes standard but diversified office tasks requiring working knowledge of warehouse operations and company policies, practices, and procedures. The position works primarily in the receiving office and responds to general inquiries related to logistics and backhaul activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clerical and administrative support to transportation and logistics teams
Assist with documentation and coordination related to backhaul and receiving activities
Perform data entry, filing, and organization of transportation and warehouse records
Respond to general inquiries regarding backhaul operations in accordance with established policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records and support day-to-day logistics workflows
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by management
Required Skills & Qualifications
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage routine administrative tasks independently under general supervision
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented with the ability to support logistics and warehouse staff
Work Environment
Office-based role located in the receiving office
Occasional interaction with warehouse and transportation personnel
