Our client in the Sycamore, IL area is experiencing rapid growth, supplying essential engineered-to-order products to billion-dollar infrastructure projects and next-generation facilities. This position will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with standards and driving process improvements to enhance product reliability and efficiency. Responsibilities include leading root cause analyses, managing audits, and compiling metrics to support strategic goals.
- Anticipate $85K - $100K+, BOE
- Benefits include: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K w/ Match
- M-F, anticipate 8-5 with flexibility on start/end times
Responsibilities
- Drive improvements in quality, delivery, cost, and innovation using lean tools and change management.
- Lead daily management reviews and facilitate team development in Kaizen and lean principles.
- Promote quality at the source and conduct root cause analyses with corrective actions.
- Compile and present quality metrics to leadership.
- Maintain quality systems per ISO 9001 standards.
- Communicate requirements and concerns professionally with teams and suppliers.
- Manage supplier audits, equipment calibration, external testing, and department budget.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred; open to equivalent experience
- 3+ years in lean manufacturing.
- Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Quality Systems implementation.
- Proficiency in reading prints/documents and writing reports.
