Facilities Maintenance Mechanic III

In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and facility equipment. Compensation: Starts at $28 an hour

 

Shift Availability:

• All shifts offer overtime as needed

• 7:30 am - 4:00pm with the ability to rotate Sunday overnight for equipment start up duties

What you’ll do…

• Make repairs and upgrades to major building, electrical, and mechanical systems, while, administering various contracted services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water pressure, fire protection and security services.
• Assist production personnel in change-over and set-ups
• Work on facility chillers and boilers as well as assist with maintaining building cleanliness
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas or to install new or repaired parts

 

What you’ll need...

• One (1) years’ experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair, or comparable experience with trade school or training. With five (5) or more years of building maintenance experience, we can consider you for the level III positions.
• Previous experience in Building/Facilities, with a solid understanding of repairing and maintaining industrial equipment.(Plumbing, chillers, boilers, HVAC) and other facility components.
• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature and pressure gauges
