Kitchen and Facility Support
Children’s Land is a warm, welcoming early childhood education center dedicated to nurturing children’s growth and development. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Kitchen Facility Support team member to help us provide healthy meals and a clean, safe environment for our children and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the daily menu and dietary guidelines.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food storage and handling.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, including dishes, countertops, appliances, and equipment.
- Strictly follow allergy and dietary restriction requirements.
- Assist with mealtime setup and cleanup in classrooms or dining areas.
- Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, meal counts, and inventory.
- Monitor and restock kitchen supplies as needed.
- Comply with health department and daycare licensing regulations.
- Communicate with staff about mealtime schedules, dietary needs, and kitchen updates.
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways and restrooms, to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks and support overall facility cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food preparation, kitchen work, or facility cleaning preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
