Bloom Talent Solutions is proud to partner with a growing, privately held commercial landscape organization with approximately $9–10M in annual revenue and two established branches in North Carolina. This role is a strategic evolution , not a replacement. Ownership is intentionally investing in senior operational leadership to strengthen systems, develop leaders, and reduce day-to-day dependency as the business scales.

Drive Scale Across a Multi-Branch Operation

As Vice President of Operations, you will serve as the senior operational leader , partnering directly with ownership to lead execution, develop branch leadership, and build scalable systems across multiple locations. This role is designed for a leader who builds teams and installs structure , not someone who needs to control every detail personally.

You’ll inherit a tenured organization and be trusted to elevate performance without unnecessary disruption. There is a clear long-term runway for expanded scope, including a potential path toward COO-level leadership .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end operational oversight across all branches
• Establish consistent standards, expectations, and accountability across locations
• Balance branch autonomy with company-wide operational discipline
• Lead, coach, and support Branch Managers and senior field leadership
• Develop high-potential internal leaders and strengthen succession readiness
• Implement operating cadence (KPIs, scorecards, meetings, reporting)
• Drive predictable execution tied to labor efficiency, margins, and service quality
• Identify bottlenecks and remove friction as the organization scales
• Serve as a strategic partner to ownership, reducing day-to-day operational dependency
• Support future branch launches and facility expansion
• Help transition the organization from founder-led to leader-led execution

Qualifications

• Senior operations leadership experience in commercial landscaping, field services, or a related industry
• Proven experience overseeing multiple branches or regions
• Direct responsibility for operational KPIs and performance outcomes
• Experience scaling organizations from ~$10M toward $25M–$50M+
• Demonstrated ability to lead through managers, not micromanagement
• Comfortable inheriting tenured teams and earning trust
• Strong people developer with a long-term leadership mindset

Compensation And Benefits

• Base Salary: $150,000–$200,000 (depending on experience and scope)
