Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a growing fertilizer company in Marseilles IL in search of a fertilizer laborer to join the growing team! Pay:

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday, occasional weekend covered.

Job Duties:

• Load dry fertilizer into trucks using approved equipment and techniques.

• Transfer liquid fertilizer by operating pumps, valves, piping, and automated systems.

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, employing the proper tools.

• Climb and descend ladders on barges, trucks, towers, and platforms in accordance with safety protocols.

• Maintain facility and grounds cleanliness , following established housekeeping standards.

• Support in-house projects and mechanical repairs as needed.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

• Technical abilities in areas like electrical work, welding, troubleshooting, or automation are advantageous.

• Adherence to a preventative maintenance program through scheduled inspections is expected.

• Prior experience at a fertilizer terminal is considered a plus.
