Machine Operator 2nd Shift
Job Description
Base pay range is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential
Shift hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, potential for overtime as needed
Looking for a Skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. If you have a great attitude, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality, this role offers a chance to advance your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, adjust, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to meet quality and production targets .
- Set up machines using work orders, samples, specification books, and verbal/written instructions.
- Utilize hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets) and measuring tools (tape measure, scales) to ensure accurate operations.
- Load, monitor, and unload in-process work, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) .
- Maintain product quality standards by pulling and inspecting samples during production.
- Document production metrics using production logs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Operator Live Logs .
- Identify and report defective materials, unusual conditions, or equipment issues to supervision.
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures , including proper use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with 5S and lean manufacturing principles .
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Experience with forklift
- Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments and ability to read customer drawings.

The US pay range for this full-time position is $20.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.)
