Bartender

Great Coast Commons is seeking an experienced bartender to join a professional team focused on genuine hospitality.

We are a neighborhood restaurant built on consistency, attention to detail, and a real appreciation for the people we serve. Our bar program supports a quality-driven food menu and a loyal North Shore guest base that values recognition, thoughtful service, and a well-run room.

This position is responsible for delivering a high-level bar experience and supporting the overall flow of service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing classic and craft cocktails with precision and consistency
• Providing attentive, polished service to bar and dining room guests
• Building rapport with regulars while maintaining professionalism with all guests
• Maintaining strong product knowledge across spirits, wine, and beer
• Supporting service efficiency during high-volume periods
• Upholding standards of cleanliness, organization, and bar readiness
• Collaborating closely with the service and kitchen teams

• Bartending experience in a quality-focused environment preferred; we will consider strong candidates with relevant experience and a clear commitment to learning the craft
• Strong foundation in classic cocktails, technique, and service standards
• Ability to manage volume without sacrificing quality
• Professional presence and clear communication
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
• Genuine interest in food and beverage

• Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time)
• Weekend availability is required

• Average earnings approximately $45/hour (hourly + tips)
