Now Hiring: Mechanical Engineer

Shift: 1st Shift (8 hours)

Compensation: $90,000 – $119,600 annually

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to support and lead engineering initiatives within our facility. This role combines strong technical expertise with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset to ensure optimal equipment design, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

*Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems and components
*Support manufacturing and maintenance teams with technical expertise
*Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
*Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
*Contribute to capital project planning, execution, and equipment upgrades
*Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability
*Manage engineering projects, timelines, and deliverables

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or product development
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and industry specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience leading design projects or mentoring junior engineers
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Familiarity with FMEA, DFMEA, Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing methodologies
• Experience with electromechanical systems

Technology and Tools

*Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software such as SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS
*Familiarity with MATLAB or Python for calculations and automation
*Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project or Jira
*Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP for BOM management and documentation control
*CAM software knowledge such as Mastercam is a plus

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
-Willingness to travel as needed for installations, testing, or supplier visits
-Strong written and verbal communication abilities
