Special Education Teacher (LBS1) | $50/hr | Full-Time | Melrose Park, Maywood, Broadview, IL | ASAP-EOY

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring five full-time Special Education Teachers (LBS1) for immediate openings across multiple school sites in Melrose Park, Maywood, and Broadview, IL. These in-person roles run through the end of the 2025-2026 school year and offer a competitive hourly rate of $50/hr.

Position Overview:

• Location: Melrose Park, Maywood, Broadview, IL

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: Through end of school year (39 weeks)

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:40 PM (35 hrs/week)

• Modality: Elementary SPED Teacher (LBS1)

• Pay Rate: $50/hr

• Interview: Virtual

Caseloads:

• Multiple openings across two classroom types:

• Self-Contained

• Resource

• Classrooms serve K-12 students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

• Each classroom includes paraprofessional support

Requirements:

• Valid IL teaching certificate with LBS1 endorsement (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

• CPR, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
