Prep Cook and Line Cook

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook and Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, ensuring high quality, speed, and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Set up and stock food stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking.
- Plate and garnish dishes for service.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Any relevant culinary certifications or training a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in knife handling and food preparation.
- Experience with a variety of cooking equipment and techniques.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to execute recipes precisely
