Warehouse Manager
- Directs and controls all warehouse activities including picking, packing, and shipping of product, receiving, handling new products, and processing returns.
- Plans and schedules department functions to ensure the prompt delivery of merchandise of the kind and in the amount ordered and maintains efficiencies in this area to maximize profitability.
- Directs warehouse personnel and logistics personnel to achieve individual, departmental, and company goals.
- Ensures safe work environment for location and its employees
- Create and maintain reports for specific areas of logistics operations
- Responsible for handling facility issues
- Responsible for maintaining all inventories in the warehouse and the inventory control process while developing an efficient organized warehouse operation
- Responsible for training and performance reviews of all logistics and distribution personnel.
- Responsible for all logistics and distribution ISO processes including compliance and changes to the processes.
- Represents the interests of the company in a professional and ethical manner and in a way, which promotes goodwill and a positive image of the company with its customers, vendors, and employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience desired
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and conflict management skill along with proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Access)
- Minimum 5 years management experience – three of which should be in a supervisory capacity
- Strong understandings of a data driven warehouse and experience with WMS system required.
- Maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Small parts handling experience
- Six Sigma & Kaizen experience a plus
