The Accounting Department is seeking a Fraud and Collections Assistant to add to our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. Additional duties within the Accounting Department will be assigned and this position will serve as a back-up to several other areas in the Accounting Department, including principal assistant for Collections.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Debit/Credit card claims processing through Fiserv / Visa
• Responsible for account garnishments/levies/tax levies
• Responsible for chargebacks of deposited checks
• Responsible for the development of reports as assigned
• Learn basic aspects of Collections and serve as a back-up to the Credit Resolution Specialist
• Learn all areas within the Accounting Department in order to back-up other positions as needed

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience – Two years to five years of similar or related experience
• Education – Some higher education preferred
• Requires the ability to multi-task effectively
• Requires the ability to work collaboratively with Accounting team members
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to constantly learn and grow professionally is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel spreadsheets
