Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscape crews to complete maintenance, planting, construction, and gardening projects efficiently and safely

• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repairs, and general horticultural practices

• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations

• Provide training and mentorship to team members on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures

• Conduct site inspections to assess project needs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high-quality standards

• Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project flow and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, gardening, or horticulture with a focus on landscape maintenance or construction projects

• Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments

• Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including irrigation systems, tree care, gardening techniques, and general horticulture

• Ability to operate or oversee the operation of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team toward shared goals

• Good understanding of safety protocols related to landscaping and construction work

• Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
