Job Responsibilities

As a retail sales associate, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers to provide a positive shopping experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming customers with a friendly demeanor, offering product information, and assisting them in finding the best solutions with our clients’ products and services.
  • Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Face-to-face product demonstrations.
  • Assisting in training and development in the office.
  • Execute marketing campaigns for our clients in retail stores, events, tradeshows, and more.

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

Must-have:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • A high school diploma + Associate's Degree or equivalent.

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs like Salesforce and Sara Plus and other retail technology.
  • An interest in Marketing, Brand Ambassador work, or the energy industry to better connect with our customers.

Success Criteria

To excel in this role, as a Retail Sales Associate, we expect you to:

  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team’s overall sales performance.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, as measured by positive customer feedback and a satisfaction rating of 85% or higher.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of product knowledge, actively engaging in training opportunities.
  • Demonstrate initiative in keeping track of customer information, addressing customer needs, and supporting team members.
  • Exhibit reliability and punctuality, consistently adhering to scheduled shifts and availability.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $45K-$50K with potential weekly bonuses based on individual performance.
