The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Software Engineer for JD Harvester Works , located in East Moline, IL you will support an agile development team and solution architect. You will help to manage backend database structure and set-ups as well as work with solution architect to prospect innovations to improve application performance and monitoring. You may also support product teams to write and test code to delivery functionality to manufacturing applications. You may also support creating documentation for development processes and best practices. Through this position, you will gain exposure and experience with real-world projects, contribute to developing and deploying new solutions, and participate in architectural decisions. The Tech Stack Used includes Python, JavaScript, React, SQL, Databricks, GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes

• Ability to work independently with initial guidance
• Effective communication, conflict resolution, and adaptability
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Engineering, IT, or a related field
