Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and passionate motorcycle enthusiast to join our team as a Rental Operations Associate. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring our fleet is in the right place at the right time and that our customers receive their bikes with a professional and friendly touch. The ideal candidate is comfortable and confident handling a variety of motorcycles, enjoys being on the road, and can engage with customers in person and on the phone. Key Responsibilities: – Safely transport motorcycles and scooters between our primary storage facility and various customer pickup zones throughout Chicago.
– Deliver vehicles directly to customers at their location (e.g., hotel, home), providing a professional and courteous hand-off experience.
– Conduct pre-ride inspections to ensure every motorcycle is clean, safe, and ready for the customer.
– Assist with the logistical coordination and organization of the rental fleet.
– Communicate effectively with the management team regarding delivery schedules and fleet status.
– Address customer’s question on the phone or in person Qualifications & Requirements: – Must be at least 21 years of age.
– Must possess a valid Class M motorcycle license and a clean driving record.
– Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable, real-world riding experience.
– Physical ability to confidently handle, ride, and maneuver motorcycles weighing 500+ pounds in various conditions (e.g., city traffic, parking garages).
– Must be available for part-time work, 5 days a week, primarily during morning and afternoon hours.
– A professional, friendly, and reliable demeanor.
– Must have great interpersonal skills. Be able to talk with clients on the phone and in person to address questions, issues with booking, etc.
– Strong knowledge of Chicago’s streets and traffic patterns is a major plus. Compensation & Perks: – Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
– Schedule: This is a part-time position requiring four-hour shifts, five days a week (totaling 20 hours/week). Shifts will primarily be scheduled during morning and afternoon hours.
– Flexibility: While a consistent weekly schedule is required, there is flexibility on the dates and times when duties must be performed. This is a Hybrid position
