We are seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Machine Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. will be highly motivated with a strong technical background in a wide range of areas. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting and maintaining various aspects of our manufacturing processes and equipment to support our 3rd shift and / or weekend production. Thorough and technical understanding of manufacturing processes specific to injection molding of raw components to the fully automated, PLC driven assembly machines is needed.

Pay Rate: $25 - 30 / hour

3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Wednesday through Sunday

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions and utilize mechanical skills and shop tools and equipment
• Perform visual quality control inspections, follow reporting and record keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor
• Perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
• Be able to troubleshoot machine issues and use knowledgeable on automation principles such as robots, sensors, vibratory feeders, etc. to correct and fix issues
• Comply with all safety and health regulations
• Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area
• Use computers to communicate with leadership, skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have Machine Maintenance Experience
• Able to use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers and have basic machining skills using lathes and mills.
• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with plant infrastructure systems such as air compressors and water chillers. Must be able to troubleshoot and do emergency repairs / maintenance.

• Basic understanding of production and plant processes; Experience with assembly processes and quality control measures is beneficial
• Must be detail-oriented and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift 40lbs, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time

Additional Requirements

• Must pass physical with lifting and breathing apparatus requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass E-Verify employment eligibility verification
• 1st shift training may occur after hire.
• Reliable transportation
