Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

About the Position
Shift Length: 12 hours Weekends: Every other weekend
- Days: Sat/Sun
- Nights: Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care throughout the LDRP continuum: labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring using Obix with Phillips monitors.
- Manage labor patients including vaginal, induction, and cesarean deliveries.
- Deliver postpartum care and newborn couplet care following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 labor, 1:3 couplet).
- Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, RT, OB techs, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain proficiency with EPIC documentation for all patient encounters.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies using established clinical protocols.
- Support Level II nursery newborns, including CPAP troubleshooting with RT assistance.
- Float within the hospital to assist with task-based duties as needed.
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum Experience: 2 years L&D
- Must-Have:
- Strong L&D clinical competency
- Ability to work all areas of LDRP
- Nursery experience preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS
- NRP
- ACLS
