Customer Care Specialist

SUMMARY
In this position, you'll be processing orders, chatting with our awesome customers, and finding the best solutions when things don't go quite as planned. To thrive here, you'll need to be confident with computers and able to keep a friendly, helpful tone- no matter what's thrown your way. 
Our customers reach out through phone, chat, and email, so multitasking is a must. You'll also pitch in with other departments to help make sure every order ships on time and looks amazing.

SCHEDULE
This is a full-time remote position, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm* CST
*Rotating early start on Mondays

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Chatting with customers over the phone—because sometimes, talking to a real person just feels better
• Helping folks out in real time through our website’s live chat
• Responding to emails about current orders, future orders, and everything in between
• Reaching out to customers when we need a little extra info about their order or design
• Collaborating with our Prepress team to make sure customer requests are clearly communicated and designs are good to go
• Working with our Production crew when an order needs a tweak or two
• Thinking on your feet to help solve any issues and make sure customers walk away happy
• Reviewing and processing special orders that need extra attention to keep things on track
• Handling payments via credit cards, PayPal, and purchase orders—and teaming up with Accounting for any payment puzzles
• Touching base with our Marketing team to stay up to date on current promos and deals
• Sharing helpful feedback with our IT team to improve our website and internal tools

• Completed Associates Degree or higher
• 2+ years experience in a customer-facing role, preferably with live phone support
• Remote work experience is a plus
• Type at least 45 wpm
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly and empathetic demeanor
• "Do it before it needs to be done" attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
