Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support high school students, particularly those with autism and plex diagnoses, focusing on transition-age students. This full school year contract is based in the Naperville, IL area and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment dedicated to fostering student independence and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to transition-age students
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve functional skills for students with autism and other plex needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and school success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Provide guidance on assistive technology and adaptive equipment use within the school setting

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist License
• Experience working with transition-age high school students, particularly those with autism and plex diagnoses, preferred
• Strong munication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
