Compensation: $35 – $40 / hour (contract)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 100% on-site

Job Description:

The HR and Benefits Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR and benefits-related questions, assist with open enrollment preparation, and oversee vendor and benefits administration activities. The role also supports compliance audits, policy updates, and employee onboarding to ensure a seamless HR experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to employee HR and benefits inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate open enrollment preparation and provide ongoing support to employees during the process.
• Manage vendor relationships and act as a liaison with benefits providers.
• Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance activities related to benefits programs.
• Support onboarding, orientation, and employee surveys to enhance engagement.
• Partner with leadership to update HR policies and implement process improvements.
• Ensure accurate communication of benefits, wellness programs, and leave administration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with payroll, finance, and other internal departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR operations with a strong background in benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP strongly preferred); ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Solid understanding of health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefit programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to resolve employee questions independently.
