Job Description & Duties

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Compliance Specialist with Accounts Payable experience. This role is responsible for managing subcontractor and supplier compliance requirements and processing/approving invoices in accordance with job and contract standards. You will collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and timely payment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain subcontractor and supplier compliance across all platforms
• Manage certificates of insurance (COIs), certified payroll, B2G, OCIP/ROCIP, D/W/MBE schedules, and EEO workforce reporting
• Verify, enter, and approve invoices in Vista Viewpoint
• Monitor compliance status and conduct follow-ups with subcontractors/suppliers
• Coordinate with AP Supervisor regarding payment releases based on compliance status
• Work closely with project teams regarding change orders and invoice questions
• Support AP tasks including filing, statement reconciliation, vendor communication, and credit requests

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of construction accounting or compliance experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with Vista Viewpoint preferred
• Familiarity with compliance platforms (Textura, B2G, LCP Tracker) a plus
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills
• Able to work collaboratively across teams
• Background check & drug screening required
