About the Position:
Our client, a top international law firm based in Chicago, is actively seeking an investment funds attorney to join its Chicago office as an associate. With a team of attorneys in North America, Europe and Asia, this firm has the largest, most active investment funds practice of any law firm in the world. Attorneys in this practice advise a wide range of investment fund clients, from top global asset managers to first-time sponsors, on legal, regulatory, tax, and commercial matters and represent leading institutional investors worldwide, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and corporations.

Responsibilities:
· Advise private equity firms and investment managers on the formation, structuring and operation of private investment funds
· Handle ongoing compliance of investment companies
· Prepare filings for open and closed-end funds and review fund agreements
Required Qualifications:
· 3-6 years of experience representing fund sponsors in the formation, structuring and operation of investment funds
· Background practicing at a leading national or international law firm
· Excellent academic credentials
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $235,000 – $390,000.
