Location: Rochester, New York

Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a high-acuity critical care environment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates skilled in advanced cardiac, respiratory, and critical care management.

Unit Details

• Unit: ICU – Critical Care
• Staffing Ratio: 1:2 on all shifts
• Float Required: Medical Surgical Units
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• First-Time Travelers Accepted

Patient Population

• Sepsis
• Post Cardiac Arrest
• ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome)
• Acute Stroke/CVA
• Respiratory Failure
• Renal Failure Patients

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Active RN License required
• ACLS Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• Mandatory competency in:
  • Phlebotomy
  • IV placement and maintenance
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility location
• No pending licenses accepted

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• 12-Lead EKG/ECG interpretation
• IV insulin protocols
• CRRT/CVVHD management
• Arterial line management
• Central/PICC line care
• Blood product administration
• Ventilator and airway management
• Continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC management
• ABG interpretation
• Infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Stroke and hypothermia protocol management
