Remote Billing Specialist
Job Overview
- Creating, managing, and issuing accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
- Processing payments, tracking transactions, and reconciling accounts to ensure financial records are up-to-date.
- Investigating and resolving any billing discrepancies or client enquiries with professionalism.
- Maintaining and updating client records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Preparing and presenting detailed billing reports for internal review.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless and accurate billing operations.
- Ensuring all billing practices comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or in a similar financial or administrative role.
- A strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with MS Excel.
- Experience using billing software and digital workflow solutions.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
