Daily Operations Manager
Job Overview
The Operations Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and service quality at Family Choice. This position oversees training, audits, staff supervision, and field operations while ensuring seamless coordination between clients, staff, and vendors. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain structure and accountability in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and provide in-service training, including new hire orientation
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled audits to ensure compliance with homemaker requirements and regulatory standards
- Lead and manage all State and Federal audits, including full preparation, documentation review, on-site coordination, and corrective action implementation
- Oversee the complete HR cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding
- Act as a liaison between the agency and care coordinators to ensure continuity and quality of services
- Oversee supply inventory, including sourcing cost-effective options and ensuring timely procurement
- Review and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
- Supervise Vendor Services staff and address service delivery issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve urgent concerns between clients, homemakers, vendors, and staff
- Conduct and finalize employee evaluations, including homemakers and other staff as needed
- Perform field supervision, spot checks, and staff conferences to ensure quality and compliance

Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Health Services, Human Services, or a related field, or a minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible management experience in home health care, health services, or a related field
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership abilitiesRequirements
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Active car insurance
- Must maintain a reliable vehicle for use in the performance of job duties, including travel to client sites and field supervision activities
- Ability to pass required State Background Check requirements
- TB Test (or ability to obtain as required)
