As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our operations across multiple states. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll partner with field leaders, employees, and our corporate HR team to drive recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and workforce development.

What You'll DoRecruiting & Talent Acquisition- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for field and office positions across multiple locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and hiring decisions.
- Support workforce planning initiatives to meet operational growth objectives.
- Manage onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, background checks, drug screens, and DOT physicals.
- Ensure new employees have a positive onboarding experience and are set up for success from day one.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, and company culture initiatives.
- Assist with benefits enrollment, employee questions, and ongoing benefits administration.
- Partner with Safety to maintain DOT driver qualification files and support regulatory compliance requirements.
- Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with EEO, Affirmative Action, and other required HR reporting activities.
- Coordinate training programs and support employee development initiatives.
- Assist with safety-related HR processes and documentation.
- Support HR projects, policy updates, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Help plan employee events and company-sponsored engagement activities.
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience in a generalist, recruiting, or employee relations role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting construction, transportation, manufacturing, or other field-based operations.
- DOT compliance or driver qualification file experience.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Experience with HRIS systems and benefits administration.
