Summer Sales Internship

TransChicago Truck Group is hiring two Sales Interns for Summer 2026 to support our Isuzu Truck product line. This is a hands-on role built around learning the full sales cycle and turning that knowledge into real customer conversations. Over 10 weeks (40 hours/week), you’ll prospect, conduct outbound outreach, and help drive the sales process from first contact through later-stage deal support.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn TransChicago’s business, products, and internal systems
• Prospect and build a target list of companies for outbound outreach
• Make outbound outreach through cold calls and emails to set appointments with customers
• Facilitate compelling conversations that uncover customer needs and handle objections
• Shadow sales reps and visit customers when appropriate
• Work with the sales team through the late-stage sales cycle, including contracts and negotiations
• Partner with marketing on outreach materials and lead-generation efforts (events, social posts, and collateral support)

Required Skills and/or Education :

• Currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sales, Business, or Supply Chain Management
• Self-starter; able to work well on a team or independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and an acute attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include Word and Excel is required
• Must provide their own transportation to work and living accommodations in the local area

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation:  $20/hr
