Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of experience required License: Valid State License required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: ACLS certification BCLS certification NIHSS certification Telemetry experience Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The nurse will work in an intermediate care unit during nighttime shifts. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be approximately 1:5 to 1:6. The nurse will care for adult patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Responsibilities will include pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care. Nurses will provide care for patients being observed for myocardial infarction. Patients may include those with chest pain, shortness of breath, COPD, diabetes, hypertension, and renal failure. The position requires management of post-stroke patients as well. Nurses will float within the hospital to meet patient care needs. About Cynet Health
