Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Elgin, IL

Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.

Home Time:

• Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
• Our OTR routes are designed to provide steady miles while allowing you to maintain family commitments.

Equipment:

• Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems.
• Take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

• Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
• Focus on driving, minimizing physical work required.

Pay and Miles:

• Drivers average between $900 and $1,200 per week depending on mileage and performance.
• Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, plus an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.

Running Area:

• Covering regional routes in Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.
• All tolls are covered with EZ Pass and toll cards.
