Payroll Clerk (Part-time)
POSITION TITLE: PAYROLL CLERK (PART-TIME)

REPORTS TO: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER/PAYROLL DEPT MANGERFLSA STATUS: HOURLY
Hawk Auto, is part of one of Chicago's dynamic and rapidly growing automotive groups, with multiple dealership locations across Illinois. As a trusted name in the industry, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are looking for a Part-Time Payroll Clerk, on site for our Westmont corporate office. Working hours can be established at time of hire, max of 30 hours. Essential Duties:- Accurate Payroll Processing: You’ll take charge of processing employee payroll on scheduled dates, ensuring timely and correct payments.
- Monitor Time Reporting: Proactively monitor our electronic time reporting system to prevent errors and work with managers to address any issues.
- Resolve Payroll Inquiries: Be the go-to person for employees, answering their payroll related questions and resolving any concerns with professionalism and accuracy.
- Bonus & Commission Payouts: You’ll manage bonus and commission payouts, ensuring everything is handled promptly and correctly.
- Generate Payroll Reports: Prepare and maintain important payroll reports for internal use and compliance.
- Employee Benefits and Union Payments: Process invoices related to employee benefits and union employee fund payments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll, ADP Workforce Now a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
