Inventory Control Coordinator
An Inventory Control Coordinator is needed for the world's largest food and beverage company in the Schaumburg, IL area. This is an SAP-focused inventory management role responsible for the end-to-end accuracy of the supply chain and will manage replenishment, physical audits, and logistics coordination to ensure field operations and production stay fully stocked and organized. location: Schaumburg, Illinois

salary: $18.59 - 19.62 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: High School responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy and Material Handling best practices across all supply chain transactions.
- Execute daily SAP transactions including stock transfer orders, deliveries, and goods receipts.
- Partner with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and deliveries.
- Manage material replenishment using SAP Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes.
- Update material master data, including reorder points and maximum stock levels.
- Oversee physical inventory cycles, including scheduling, reconciliation, and posting adjustments.
- Coordinate monthly scrapping activities and ensure accurate documentation and certificates of destruction.
- Utilize exception and health check reporting to verify the integrity of SAP records.
- Collaborate with Field Service, Procurement, and Production teams to resolve supply chain issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements within a dynamic service operations environment.
- Self-motivated and can work independently.
- Understanding of Inventory management and reconciliation.
- Customer service oriented.
- Positive attitude, ability to get along with others inside and outside the department.
- A solid understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
- 1 -2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Inventory experience.
