Controller
- Provide leadership to accounting and administrative teams across multiple offices
- Mentor and develop staff, encouraging open communication, accountability, and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive alignment on financial and operational goals
- Develop, analyze and communicate KPI dashboards, GPM reports, and underbilling assessments
- Ensure timely, accurate preparation of all financial reports including P&L, cash flow, and AR
- Lead risk management efforts, licensing renewals, and compliance reporting (DBE, MBE, WBE)
- Strengthen and enforce financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Maximize use of ERP software (CMiC) and ensure system adoption across functions
- Evaluate team structure and implement performance improvements across finance functions
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance leadership, preferably in construction or public accounting with construction clients
- CPA preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
- Expertise in ERP systems (CMiC a plus)
- Proven track record of team leadership, process improvement, and strategic thinking
- High integrity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster strong working relationships
- Energetic, curious, and invested in a culture of growth and service
